OJSC Research Institute "Glassplastics and fibre" is scientifically research institute, which is engages creation of technical knitted materials from glassfibre and mixed types of fibres complex .
It Is group of materials with specific properties, which are used as reinforcing component in glassplastic designs, where the application woven fabrics are not expedient.
The laboratory of knitted and non-o woven fabrics of OJSC Research Institute "Glassplastics and fibre" engages in development of structures and technologies of manufacturing new resistant and rainforcing of materials. The modern equipment and large research-production experience of employees of laboratory allows in short terms to adjust industrial release of diversified production - from thin cords and sleeves to thick cloths and geotextile grids.
Works above creation of materials for needs of various industries, including space, have allowed to master various kinds of raw materials: glassroving, basalt roving, SVM, coal, silica strings and others.
An opportunity to operate all parameters of materials, such as surface density, thickness, porous, direction of reinforcing, alongside with high producing - main advantages of available technologies.
On this basis is created the essentially new materials, in particular from basalt roving.
